Broken Arrow Oklahoma Rocks It Out At Rooster Days Festival

If you happen to be in the area of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma during May, take time out to join the community in a rocking out good time at the annual Rooster Days Festival. It is the state’s longest continuous running festival and is full of the traditions a festival should have.

There is live entertainment and the eagerly anticipated Miss Rooster Days contest as well as a carnival and a parade. Booths galore are filled with arts and crafts, food and more. If you’ve never heard of fried ice cream – well, you’ll find it right here at Broken Arrow’s Rooster Days Festival.

In addition to a carnival for kids, food galore and live music there is the Rooster days run on the Friday night that starts the event off. Then that Saturday morning is the parade where the kids gather all kinds of goodies. There are even booths for your shopping dollars with deals you won’t find in any big box store!
